Daily Schedule: 7th Day

Last night we celebrated the Italian night. For the moment it has been one of the best nights. The activities proposed by our Italian friends were different and really fun.
The night began with the appearance of the "mamma" (Italian mother) who introduced us to Italy asking us questions and representing the strong character of Italian mothers.

After, we saw a beautiful video about Italy and its culture, we made a game where we had to answer questions about its culture, history and traditions.

We had a lot of fun with "The tuca, tuca dance" and the Italian gestures.
We all expected the time of the meal: it was fabulous. We were able to taste "limoncello", "parmigiano", "salsiccia", "bruschette", "taralli", "canestrelli" among other things. The food disappeared from the table!!!

To end the evening, we danced typical dances from Italy and participated in a karaoke of Italian songs.

Day 7 of our Youth Excahnge!

The day began with some nice posters at the breakfast table that wished us a good day in Italian: "buongiorno". The Italian team took care of the energizers, in total we have done three: "holding hand", "horse riding" and "un, due, tre, stella".

Then it was the turn of the Polish team, who showed us how to make an origami eagle. The eagle is a symbol in their country, that's why they chose to make this figure for their origami. They also showed us how to make a Polonez car origami.

Then we made other two energizers also directed by the Italian team: "banana" and "Atoms and Molecules". In this last energizers we form groups to make the origami of Italy. The Italian team proposed us to make an ice cream. then they proposed us to make a more complicated one: a gondola, but all of us were happy with the work.

To end the afternoon, we continued with the preparation activities of the origami exhibition; some of us went to the city to promote the event, the local population was very friendly and we managed to put on 15 posters. We also distributed flyers. We also have finished editing the tutorial videos of the origami figures of each country. We have everything ready for our exhibition!
